More About Me
Reliable Tutoring Service
Hi! My name's Liam Burgmann, and I'm an 11th grader at Berkeley High School. I've been doing parliamentary debate for four years, have been playing the piano for ten, and just started trying robotics. In academics, I've maintained straight A's since starting high school. While I, like most others my age, am not the biggest fan of school itself, I always have had a passion for the other half of education: teaching. Since the second grade, my teachers would comment to my parents at conferences that they were always observing me re-explaining some of the concepts to the other kids. In more recent years, I've paid more attention to how the teacher's explanation of a topic may not be the most intelligible for every student, and I consider how I would explain those concepts differently.

Students, I've noticed, can sometimes find it difficult to delve deep into learning and education due to a lack of relatability with their teachers. While this doesn't present a barrier for many, it does for many others. As a teenager myself, I hope to be able to remove that gap of understanding for students and to connect the seemingly unrelatable educational concepts with fun and accessible teaching.

I'm experienced in working with both kids and my peers, and I'm willing to tutor anyone in grades 1-10. If you have any questions about my background, qualifications, teaching methods or otherwise, please feel free to send me an email. Thank you!
